We've started cooking together after church again. This week we made pilau. Amina is grinding the spices.

Kids are kids wherever you find them.

Please pray for Najma. We are working on getting her help with her knee which turns in. She is such a cutie.

We were able to visit Naamini on Parent's Day. I qualify as her Mama Mkubwa-Mother's older sister :)

It has been wonderful renewing old relationships. I had dinner with Ismail and his family the other night.

Peter is an excellent packer. We were able to take all of my things in one trip. The inside is full, and the footlockers are 2 deep on the luggage rack above.

I also got a chance to hang out with my friends Maryam and Sanana.

When I went to Arusha, I was able to visit my students from last year.

Expensive sweet tooth - even accounting for the exchange rate, these are about $5 each. Eeek!

The chicken passenger thing happens more often than you would think.

Mom's cabin is one of my favorite places. There was even some snow there.

Maria (my sister-in-law) and I went to visit Mom.

There was another game which had us working together to avoid breaking laser lines, like in a heist. If you look closely you can see "The over 50s" in 2nd place. Yahoo!
