Sometimes I have a little trouble figuring out where I am.

I have never lived in a big city (over 2.5 million) before. I live in Salmiya, an area with varied levels of affluence.

And here's that view...that's the Arabian Gulf (the term used here). This California girl is happy!

Here's that balcony you see from the ground, too small for a chair, but big enough to go out for a great view.
